As a part of the company's sustainability program, Old Orchard has focused much of its efforts on conserving one of earth's most precious resources: water. These efforts will be ongoing, as the company plans to continually look for ways to reduce waste water.  Progress to date includes the following:

Old Orchard currently employs water conservation methods with its waste water treatment and discharge.  The company discharges only 10,000 gallons per day (GPD), while the beverage industry average is nearly 3 times that amount, based on identical production volume. 

Additionally, the company's physical plant exterior was designed with shade-producing trees and vegetation that eliminates routine watering.
